I'd seen The Armed a few months prior to this show, opening for Queens of the Stone Age at Washington, DC's The Anthem. So I was excited to see their explosive live show in DC's much smaller Black Cat venue and very pleasantly surprised that I could squeeze up front in what I assume was a sold out show.
