Pumped to see that Desire's tour overlapped with my work trip to Chicago this week. Now that I've switched from a pocket-sized film camera to a padded sack of modern gear, I've started to out to artists/reps in advance to attempt to get a photo pass. I'd rather ask in advance and plan accordingly than have to coat-check my bag and expensive toys.
I'm technically three for three - requests to gaining photo passes. So far, the venues have seemed lax enough that I wouldn't have had a problem getting a camera in without approval, but I don't mind asking.
