This is the first show I’ve shot at Whittier Bar, maybe my fourth time seeing the all-around great Planning For Burial, who put out one of my favorite albums this year, It’s Closeness, It’s Easy.
Also the first time I’ve used the filter that produces the circular halos. It works very differently than I anticipated but in the best possible way. Even the dim power lights of the amps end up producing bright effects.
They feel very Havok from the X-Men to me.
